Comfort Quilts

Come and join us. Comfort quilts are given to those members of our guild who have lost a spouse or child; someone who is going through cancer or other severe medical situations; or someone who has extraordinary difficulties in their life. We try to keep ahead of the need and have a quilt ready when it is needed.

We will be making blocks, putting blocks together into tops, and putting tops together to make quilts. We will be meeting at Kathy O’Brien’s home the Monday following the Guild meetings from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. You can bring your machine.

We need blocks in 10 1/2″ size or 12 1/2″ size. Be sure to sign your name to the block. Thanks to all of you who have donated blocks and backing materials.

Meeting dates: January 11, February 8, March 8, April 5, May 10, June 7, July 5.
